LECOM Suncoast Classic

The Path to the PGA Tour Heads to Florida's West Coast

Web.com Tour announces LECOM Suncoast Classic as newest addition to annual schedule

The Web.com Tour announced today a new tournament set to debut on the annual schedule in 2019. LECOM Suncoast Classic,
which will be contested at Lakewood National Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, will be held the week of February
11-17, with 144 players competing for a $550,000 purse. A five-year deal is in place through 2023.

Colorado native Mark Hubbard secured his first Web.com Tour title in his 65th start, firing a four-round total of 26-under at the inaugural LECOM Suncoast Classic to secure a two-shot win over Maverick McNealy. Hubbard, a San Jose State alum, used stellar driving and putting throughout the week to rise up the leaderboard at Lakewood National GC, a course that offers fairly generous landing areas yet requires strategy in tee-ball position to properly attack flags on multi-tiered greens.
